Ep 4. Patterns that hold psychology leaders back from reaching their next level of success
As therapists, we’re in the business of helping others. But when it comes to leading our own businesses or practices, we often hit walls that can feel difficult to break through. In my latest episode of The Therapist Leader, I’m diving into the patterns I’ve seen holding therapist leaders back and how you can shift those blocks to create the success you desire.
One of the biggest patterns I’ve noticed? The tendency to follow rather than lead. Many of us get caught up in the opinions of others, the fear of judgment, or the guilt that can come with financial success. These fears hold us back from stepping into the kind of leadership that truly drives growth. And let’s be real: if you’re running a practice, you need to lead it with vision and conviction.
But there’s good news! There are tangible steps you can take to move past these roadblocks. I talk about the power of setting aside time for visioning—because if you’re not clear on where you want to go, how will you get there? I also explore the importance of stepping away from the noise of social media and really considering how our beliefs about money can shape our success (or lack of it).
